For my new post the changes I made were subtle but in my opinion made a big impact. The first change I made was the change to the section of my introduction. I kept the headlines the same as they were clear and concise. The area where I needed to change was the content itself. It was not concise enough and would create challenges in allowing clear understanding for the user. I simply removed the line “Let our site guide you through planning the most special day of your life and finding your dream gown. Our site will give you insight on every detail”. This was wordy and was unnecessary to the content because the content was clear enough without it.

The next step was organizing my introduction better. I decided to move the content about “Windsor Wedding’s” to follow after my first content blurb. I did this in order for users to be able to find the info they need on my site better. I kept all the content the same as it was clear, concise and correct. I then moved my “What We Represent” content to follow “Windsor Wedding’s”. This was done for the same reason. This content needed slight revising as it was not concise enough. I removed the line “Wedding planning should never be stressful.” and “After all it is your day!” because they cluttered the content. I kept the headline the same because it represented the content well.

The Next step I took was changing my last two posts by removing bulky content that reduces the conciseness of the content. I did this with my content that was entitled, “Planning Your Wedding Day!”. I removed the line “Bows and Pearls will help you navigate all 4 topics at a click of a button! We will provide you with all the information you need.” and replaced it with “Bows and Pearls will help you navigate all 5 topics at a click of a button!” due to the fact that it was not concise nor correct. I had 5 categories not 4, so that was not user friendly and needed to be changed.

My very last post was changed quite a lot because it was not in f-pattern and needed to be more concise. I decided it would improve the experience of the user if I made the content into a list. Not only would this satisfy my need for the content to be in f-patten but it would also make my content concise and easy to read. All the changes I made were made to allow visitors to clearly gather what they need from my website, understand it, and use it to fulfill their purpose.
